DAY 1: Guinevere's Purchase
DAY 1. Guinevere was purchased on Saturday 11/14/2020. I shopped on FB marketplace for a camper to fit our family's needs. I did this based on the advice of an RV Renovation blogger/author Sarah Lemp. My requirements were: Light enough to be towed by Mike's F150 (a max empty weight around 6000 lbs) Room for improvement in beautification (um hi every trailer fits this requirement) I had been doing a lot of reading about renovation and I was OK with buying something in not-so-pristine condition. I ended up buying one that had decent finishes, so we can use it in between my renovation messes. (ex. phase 1 was repairing some water damage, then we took it on Thanksgiving trip.
